Mandala
This term in visual arts we started to work on our Mandala. We were able to do two of our Mandalas, one had to be coloured by colouring pencils and the other one had to be coloured in with coloured papers, so basically we just had to cut out the papers into a pattern we made our Mandala into. For my Mandala I went to colour my circle purple, blue and red because I’d thought it would match really well when it gives midnight vibes.
It’s not actually hard to make a Mandala, you just need to make a perfect circle or a similarly ‘good enough’ circle and fill it with any patterns you’d like, then you’re just going to colour it in with the colours you like so you could make a different coloured pattern inside the circle.
What is a Mandala?
A Mandala is a circle figure filled with different coloured patterns that represent the universe in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism. This Mandala was originated from India in the 8-12th century. Who created Mandalas? The Buddhist people created them, but we aren’t sure who it EXACTLY was.
Here is my Mandala:
It’s not the best though, but I like the patterns I made
