Hello bloggers, I will be introducing to you a few paraphrased sentences from the bloody code. If you are unsure about what the bloody code is, it is a point in time back then where criminal consequences were being sentenced to death.
Why was the legal system so harsh?
The legal system was so harsh to prevent any more crimes from ever happening, as the law thought people committing such crimes (even the littlest ones made) were sinful, lazy and greedy and that they deserved very little mercy. The law thought people may not commit any crimes, if they knew their consequence would be sentenced to death.
Public Executions
One of the public executions was hanging people in front of an audience. Again the law claimed that this would frighten the people from committing crimes, and to lure them into obeying the law.
